Back in the Saddle

Back from busy busy business meetings and spending some time in Thailand (I wasn't allowed to bring the laptop so I couldn't trade ... ;P) and boy did I miss and interesting one. Looks like all sorts of fun things happened before expiration Friday:

  • BSC getting a whooping (it made major news in Asia)
  • Feds cutting rates by 0.75 of a point (another huge ripple on Asia TV)
  • Microsoft withdrawing it's offer to buy Yahoo and Yahoo plummeting back to 20-22 ... wait, nevermind that was only a dream ;P.

Anyhow, back to looking for new entry points. I think that we're going to see whatever upward momentum generated by the Feds move last well into late this week, and hopefully next which will generate some really cheap put entry points on RIMM leading into and after their earnings report on the 2nd. Weeee!

BTW: If you're ever in Thailand, try to wear shoes -- 'lucky' me stepped on a glass shard wearing sandals. >:P
